Does death exist within hyperspace? The deceased become eternalized, preserved by their highly curated social media presence. I feel attached to the media pages of those I have lost, using them for visitation despite their semi-accurate representations. Strangely, these virtual spaces have begun to encapsulate the aura of the deceased, becoming an eerily spiritual space offering solace and comfort.

For myself, a parallel exists between symbols of the physical and the virtual. It feels as if objects from the physical world are transcendent connectors to those I have lost; the most frequent symbols are prairie hares, representing the essence/spirit of lost loved ones.
